Disaster Preparation for People Who Use AAC and their Families is a free course designed to help you be prepared for natural disasters. Delivered daily via text message, you will learn how to:

  1. Sign up for local Emergency Alerts,

  2. Prepare an Emergency Communication Passport,

  3. Develop emergency and shelter specific communication boards,

  4. Select Go Bag  items with AAC needs in mind and

  5. Create and practice your emergency plan with your selected team.

This toolkit is being offered at no cost, thanks to the generous donations from USSAAC members and friends.
